Obituary of Patricia “Lynn” RINGLER (nee Johnston)

Patricia Lynn Ringler (nee Johnston), beloved wife of, Terry Ringler of Calgary, AB passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at the age of 66 years.

Lynn was born in North Bay, Ontario on March 29, 1954. She attended Canadore College and worked as an Administrative Assistant to the Chief Medical Officer of Health for the North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit. On July 27, 1974, Lynn and Terry were happily married. Lynn was a person who enjoyed many creative projects. She loved gardening, camping, travelling and hosting lovely dinners for family and friends. She was extremely devoted to her grandchildren and relocated to Calgary to be close to them.

Besides her loving husband Terry, Lynn is survived by her son, Wesley Ringler, daughters and sons-in-law, Emily Ringler (Matt Guerin) and Meredith (Dave) Kissel; grandchildren, Elizabeth and Henry Kissel; father Earl Johnston, and brothers, Murray (Carol) Johnston and Terry (Tracy) Johnston. She is also survived by her husband’s family, George (Cheryl) Ringler, Jeff (Kate) Ringler, Mac (Dianne) Allen, Ken (Jean) Allen, Rob (Sue) Allen and Lloyd Burnham. She was predeceased by Isabel Burnham and her mother Pat Johnston.
