Obituary of Alexander TROFIN

Alexander Trofin, beloved husband of Lillian Trofin (nee Bedford) of Calgary, AB, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 16, 2020 at the age of 93 years.

Alexander was born in Kayville, SK on March 19, 1927. He was one of seventeen children born on a farm to Alex and Katrina Trofin. Alexander was a hard worker. He moved away from his family in 1951 to work in the Eldorado mine in the Northwest Territories. Eventually he travelled to Alberta, where he met his wife Lillian, and was married in 1962. Alexander was a proud father of five children and very devoted to his wife, Lillian. He enjoyed playing guitar, bird watching, and taking road trips to visit family.

Alexander is survived by his sons, Warren, Ken and Brad, daughter, Janet; and son-in-law Nick Toenjes; four grandchildren, Holly, Christopher, Alyse and Jack; one great-grandchild Austin.

Alexander was predeceased by his wife Lillian; his daughter Carrie; brothers, Nick, Conn, Sam, Mack, and Bill and sisters, Gustie, Anne, Marie, and Sally.
