Obituary of Robert Vernon PORTLOCK

March 30, 1930 – Regina, Saskatchewan
May 23, 2020 – Calgary, Alberta

Robert Portlock of Calgary, AB, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 23, 2020 at the age of 90 years.

Robert was born in Regina, Sask. on March 30, 1930.  He spent most of his life at the Bow Crest Nursing home where he was lovingly cared for by the wonderful staff, Dr. Catherine Heaton and Dr. Mark Addison.   He also enjoyed his visits and companionship with Peter, who became his best friend. Robert loved going to the Blackfoot diner to see the train, and to visit Tino at Market Mall where they had lunch.

Robert leaves behind his nephews and nieces, Brad Portlock, Barb Goettler, Darcey Thomas, and Donna Mae Thurston. Robert was predeceased by his brother Bill Portlock and sister Joyce Thomas.
