Obituary of Larry Jon FORREST

Larry Forrest of Calgary, AB, passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2020 at the age of 66 years.

Larry was born on December 12, 1953 in Calgary AB. He always found someone he knew wherever he went and had many friends and acquaintances throughout the years. If you knew Larry chances are he had a nickname for you. You could always count on Larry to “know a guy” when something was needed. He was always willing to help no matter what. He was the proud owner of Professional Autobody for thirty-eight years and took a lot of pride in his work. He had a passion for music and cars and you could always find him fixing something, an admirable trait that his son has continued with. 

Larry is survived by his children, Kelsey Cook (Tory Cook), Nicole Walden (David Walden), Trent Forrest; his grandchildren, Olivia Cook, Lily Cook, Lukas Walden, Lydia Walden and Jack Walden; the mother of his children Shann Forrest; his siblings, Barbara, Stew and Doug; as well as his many nieces and nephews.

Larry loved his family and although he will be greatly missed, he is now at peace, resting with his mother (Violet Forrest), father (James Forrest) and nephew (Robert Waller).

A small graveside ceremony will be held on June 12, 2020 for family and close friends. A service will be held at a future date to honor Larry and gather in his memory. Condolences, memories and photos may be shared and viewed on Larry’s obituary at www.McInnisandHolloway.com.
