Obituary of Finn CHRISTENSEN

February 8, 1941 – Copenhagen, Denmark
May 29, 2020 – Calgary, Alberta

With great sadness we announce the passing of Finn Christensen on Friday, May 29, 2020 at the age of 79 years.

A master craftsman and contractor in his working years, he took great pride in his work. He enjoyed spending time at the cabin he lovingly built at Mabel Lake, BC.

Finn was very proud of his Danish heritage as reflected in his book "From Daffodils to Prairie Muffins" written about his early years in Denmark, the exciting voyage across the ocean with his parents and sister in 1951, and his new life in Canada.

Finn is survived by his loving wife of fifty-three years, Beverley; daughters, Tina Fahlman (Brent Fahlman) and Leah Christensen (Gary Tirebuck); grandsons, Tanner and Colby Fahlman and Parker Christensen; sisters, Kirsten of Victoria, BC and Rose of Calgary. He was predeceased by parents Niels and Else.

Those wishing to pay their respects may visit the family home on Sunday, June 7, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Condolences, memories and photos may be shared and viewed on Finn’s obituary at www.McInnisandHolloway.com.
