Dear Randy, Carolyne, Cheryl, Jason, Leslie, Leanne, Uncle Cal and all your loved ones/families,
My thoughts are with you at this time. That is a beautifully composed obituary of my Auntie Joan, your beloved Mother. From it I learned of many special things about her life. I got a real joy reading about the 'Plant Lady'. For me, memories of Auntie Joan and the Oughton family harken back to my childhood when for some years it was a tradition that our family stopped over for Christmas Eve visits. There was another time I remember Auntie Joan sending over to our house what was described to me as her secret chicken recipe, to which I ate and found to be simply awesome.
Please receive my heart felt condolences. May you each have comfort, strength, grace, compassion, and love at this time. I join with you in remembering, honouring, and celebrating a very special precious woman. May God bless us all.
