Obituary of Frank John Winston COROY

Frank Coroy, beloved husband of Simonne Irene Coroy (née Rheault) of Calgary, AB, passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2020 at the age of 78 years.
Frank was born in Hafford, SK, on February 15, 1942. He joined the Canadian Armed Forces - Artillery from 1960 to 1966. He then went on to Red River College from 1970-71 achieving his certificate in Meat Cutting. Frank also drove for Greyhound Bus Lines from 1967-1997, and was a member of the Amalgamated Transit Union 1374.
He married Simonne in 1963.
Frank was particularly proud of his Military service. He enjoyed collecting Military memorabilia and loved watching John Wayne and Clint Eastwood movies. He took Tae Kwondo for several years. His most memorable vacation was when he drove his 5th wheel across Canada in his early 60s with his wife, Simonne.
Besides his loving wife Simonne, Frank is survived by his two sons, Carey (Diana) of Calgary, AB, Chris (Lynne) of Calgary, AB, his daughter Therese (John) Kennedy of Airdrie, AB; three grandchildren, Shea Coroy of Calgary, AB, Owen and Ava Kennedy of Airdrie, AB; brothers, Reg (Paulette) Coroy of Edmonton, AB, and Gary (Dona) Coroy of Saskatoon, SK and his sister, Jean (Jack) Fong of Ottawa, ON; sisters-in-law; Pat Coroy of Nepean, ON and Ingrid Coroy of Victoria, BC.
Frank was predeceased by his parents, Myrtle and John Coroy; and by his brothers, Victor and Richard Coroy.
