Condolences
My condolences to the Dykes family. I was very saddened to hear of Jason's passing.
I worked with Jason for a while at Syncrude. He was kind, smart and always ready to help out. He made me feel welcome as part of the team when I started working there. I remember how much he loved driving his Mustang and I enjoyed hearing the stories of his and Jeff's trips!
Rest in Peace Jason.

It’s heart breaking to hear the news of Jason’s passing. Jason has made an impact on my life. I first met Jason at Syncrude in 2003 and admired his work ethic; he was passionate about his work, contentiousness, and professional.
I’ll always remember the good times we had the trips we made. One of Jason’s favourite times with me was went we went on a day road trip to Moose Jaw and toured the underground tunnels, walked around the abandoned Fort Qu’ Appelle sanitorium and visited the old train tracks to see the light of St. Louis. I’m grateful Jason made the long journey to attend my wedding in China.
Jason was free spirited, beneficent, spiritual and a great listener. He will truly be missed. My condolences to his family and friends.
Rest in peace my friend,
Jeff O’Neil
With the shocking news of Jason's sudden passing he left behind parents, a sister and family, and friends who wanted and needed much more time with him. To my brother Dave and my wonderful sister-in-law Rose, to niece Jodi and Shane, Kelvin, Brooklyn and Jasmine you have my sympathy, love and prayers forever. My strongest memory of Jason is from several years ago when I asked for some family photos to share with our cousins overseas. Right away he sent back photos of places he visited plus photos of cars and one at a rock concert shouting his lungs out! It's easy to see his joy of life. Thank you Jason.

My condolences to the family, Jason was my colleague at Suncor Fort Hills for almost 2 years, I was shocked and saddened by his sudden passing, Jason was very passionate in everything he did and certainly work was not the exception. May he rest in peace!!

To my dear big brother Jason:
We are extremely saddened by your passing. Mom, Dad, Shane, Kelvin, Brooklyn, Jasmine and everyone else that knew you were deeply touched by you. As shown in one of the photos, you were always number one in my club. You are kind, sensitive, smart, loyal, and passionate to the core of your soul. Your nephew and nieces look up to you. I am so glad that Shane stayed with you when he was continuing his education in Saskatoon from 2008-2010. He loved spending time with you as did each and every one of us. We are proud of you. You are a brave and strong man and have always appreciated the finer things in life. I will always be connected to you and cherish all of the times that we spent together. I honour and respect you and will always be impacted by your sudden passing. It is going to be difficult to carry on without you but we are a strong family and I know that you are here protecting us and helping us along the way. Thank you for being our guiding light through all of this. You Rock! Rest in Valhalla my dear sweet brother.
Love,
Jodi
For the years I know Jason he was a kind and decent guy and he was passionately independent. I used to called him Superman. Whenever he had and big physical work to to do he would go out and get it done before anyone could offer him help. He reminiscing that he missed being around is family .
Rest In Peace Jason.
My condolences to his family.
