Condolences
I was sad to hear of John's passing. We first met through business, then we became friends. I enjoyed his company and I know that he will be missed by many.

John's family,
I am so saddened to hear of your loss. He is at peace now. I didn't know John on a personal level, I worked with John and got the sense he was very king and caring and loved his family very much. I always looked forward to our phone conversations. My thoughts and prayers go out to you all.

Dear Eileen and Family,
I was so saddened to hear of the loss of your husband, John. May he Rest In Peace. I hope you are coping okay during this most difficult time. I have fond memories of John, and you Eileen, back in the early days in Ontario. The obituary is beautiful. My deepest condolences, prayers and thoughts go out to you all.

Dear Eileen, Lorne, Michael and Maggie
I was very sad to hear from Barbara Burlington about John’s passing.
My most sincere condolences to all of you.
I know he had many friends and aquaintences who will also miss him.
Your elegant and informative obituary of John filled in many impressive areas of his life that I was regretfully never aware of. I and my family have nice memories of our Christmas visit to your home long ago.
The Celebration of Life long ago in North Bay for our parents, Lorne and Mary, comes to mind,
The song of Dad’s sister clearly brought 2 white doves to rise up on and fly away together through the peak windows of the Church.
With that memory, and as the surviving family member of Lorne and Mary, I would like to send you this card with a song of praise and another white dove that can fly along with John, perhaps to meet the spirits of Lorne , Mary and my other brother, Michael.
I regret I cannot get to Calgary right now, but I will be pleased to plant a fine tree in Vancouver in John’s honour, and I will let you know where.
Love, Thomas Ian Burlington
Eileen, Lorne, Michael and Maggie. May John's memory ever reside in your hearts along with his wonderful sense of humour. He certainly was one of a kind as a boss, business associate and friend. He fought the good fight to stay around for you all and unfortunately time was not on his side. RIP John, you will be missed. Arlene Hamilton and Bill Henry.
Dear Eileen and Family,
I am sorry to hear about the passing of John. He was a pleasure to work with and will be greatly missed. My heart goes out to you and your family in this time of sadness. May God bless you and give you strength to get through this.
Sincerely,
Nicole LaPointe
Dear Eileen, Lorne, Michael and Maggie, Gary and I are so saddened to hear of John's passing. I wish we had seen you guys in recent years. So much time has passed, we should have made it happen. We have some great memories of enjoying John's great culinary skills on Suncrest Way. He had a vast knowledge of so many things, was quick witted and always enjoyed a good laugh. I know he will be greatly missed, We didn't even know he was ill so this is a shock and we are thinking of all of you at this very sad time. With much love, Lynn and Gary
