Condolences
Our condolences to you and your family, Marcel. So happy to have gotten to know You and Marlene at Lynx Ridge and Valley Ridge. We will miss Marlene. Our prayers are with you. Wayne and Moira Harlton.
To Marcel, my dear brother, Daren and Joy, Suzanne, Melanie as well as Ali, Tate and Joshua, all my deep sympathy for the loss of Marlene, your beloved wife, mother and grandmother. The tribute paid in Obituary of Marlene is beautiful and very touching.
I have so many good and wonderful memories with Marlene since the first time I met her at the Old Port where she arrived in Montreal, Quebec, to join Marcel and meet the Lalonde family. It’s been over 60 years. The last one time, it’s the visit to M and M at their house in Calgary, on June-July 2018.
In the meantime, I have many occasions to meet her in family circumstances and see the great qualities of Marlene, my sister-in-law. No doubt, she was a wonderful family woman and she was proud of her origins on the farm where she learned to love animals. She always like to surround herself with a nice dog.
As a former teacher, she paid great attention to the children she met. My mother Aimėe-Rose (her mother-in-law) and Marlene had developed a beautiful relationship, both enjoyed each other very much. She loved to cook and share her good recipes. Surely, I will have a very special thought for Marlene every time I cook one of her tasty recipes. She was always happy playing cards, especially since she was very often a winner.
Marlene loved life so much and always greated us with a big smile. She was a beautiful woman like on her portrait. The last times have been difficult and so sad, but I will remember Marlene for her zest for life and her love for her close family and dear friends.
Sincere condolences to my brother Marcel and all his family! All my love to all of you.
Peace and love to Marlene!

Dear Marcel, Dick and I played Bridge with you and Marlene at the Tri Palms Estate Community Centre, Thousand Palms, California, during the Canadian winter months. We both will miss Marlene as she really enjoyed playing with everyone and provided us with a chuckle now and again. We have happy memories of those days and hope we get to see you some time in the future. It is sad, however, that I did not realize that Marlene was my daughter, Michele's, 2nd grade Teacher at St. James School in Calgary, as she sent me this Obituary.
Our condolences to you and your dear Family.

My sincere sympathy to you all at this sad time.
I have very fond memories of Marlene as a fellow softball Mom, a curling companion, and a friend.

Our condolences Marcel to you and your family. We got to know you and Marlene through curling in the mixed and men’s leagues at Garrison Curling Club in Calgary! We have fond memories of sharing laughs on the ice and afterwards a beverage in the lounge on cold Friday nights!

Dear Marcel and family, we were heartbroken to hear the news about Marlene. May your memories keep you enveloped in the love she had for each and every one of you and especially you, Marcel. There truly are no words but we are so grateful that we had the opportunities in the past few years to get together and visit with both of you in Calgary and here in Ottawa. Our love to all of you.
