Obituary of Beth Phyllis ROBERTS

August 28, 1944 – Moosomin, Saskatchewan
June 1, 2020 – Okotoks, Alberta

Beth Roberts, beloved wife of Don Roberts of Calgary, AB, left her physical being to fly with angels on June 1, 2020 at the age of 75 years. 

Beth was born and raised in Moosomin, SK.  She moved to Regina, SK in 1961 and attended Business College. In 1965 she married Don and in 1966 they moved to Calgary, where she raised their daughters and worked as a secretary/administrator until herself and Don started their own Sheet Metal business. Beth had a wonderful mind for business and finances.  She excelled at managing all the requirements of running a successful company.  Nothing got past Beth. Beth was an avid (Flames) Hockey and Football fan and could talk hockey with anyone for hours.   She also enjoyed bowling and was a member of the Chinook bowling league and enjoyed the Glenmore Seniors Aquasize Group. Beth was an amazing grandma to her grandkids, including the grand-pets.  She supplied them with unconditional love and did all she could to support them and encourage their success.  She was their biggest cheerleader, and she rarely missed a single hockey or soccer game that the grandkids participated in.

Besides her loving husband, of almost fifty-five years, Beth is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Lynne and Duane and Kim and Jeff; grandchildren, Bret, Breeanne, Sydney and Tyler; brother Murray (Elda), and her nieces and nephews.  She will also be missed by her cherished canine companion “Buddy” and a wonderful group of long-time friends. 

Beth was predeceased by her parents, Bernard and Jeanice Leslie, mother and father-in-law Violet and Jim Roberts, sister Elaine, and brothers-in-law, Ian and Jimmy. 

Beth will be greatly missed and always loved!
