Condolences
I was very sad to see that Brent passed. I only got to meet him and his dad (my great uncle) once back in 1980 when they came to visit family in Evansville, IN. We had a great time hanging out for a few days and unfortunately never had the opportunity to see one another again. He was my father’s first cousin (so mine once removed) but was my age. My condolences to his immediate family. His extended family here in Indiana will be sad to hear of his passing.
I was sorry to hear of Brent’s passing. We were good friends and Army buddies at Fort Benning, Georgia. I have fond memories of our shenanigans together. I have several pictures of us during our enlistment. If you’d like a copy, email me at bur3fing@gmail.com

I was shocked to hear of Bent's passing. Beam-San as we used to call him in the karate circles training with him for many years. Too young to go. A big guy, but even a bigger heart. As Jeff Taylor mentioned in an earlier message, we created very strong bonds training and sweating together. Even though as we get older and part ways and life takes you on different journeys, great memories never fade. We loved him as a brother and a friend. RIP Beam-San!
My heart grows heavy hearing about Brent's passing. It was a pleasure working with him at Wholesale Sports as he was always a delight to work with. I feel so honoured and previledged to have gotten the chance to know him. My condolences to his family as he will be greatly missed.
Brent worked for my brother and I at Wholesale Sports in Calgary for many years. He was valued as both an employee and a friend. His positive attitude and easy-going nature made him well-liked by everyone. We would like to offer our sincere condolences to his family and friends for a life taken too soon.

So sorry to hear of Brent’s passing. Over the past days I’ve been thinking of the experiences we shared together. Training together for so many years forged a bond and respect that cannot be broken. I will always remember Brent as a big hearted friend. He was a good man. Mary Anne I hope you can take some comfort in knowing how much we all loved him. Jeff Taylor
Big Brent was at WSS all three times I worked there. He was TOP GUN! A big kind man. To Mary Ann and Brent’s family, I feel for your loss. RIP my friend.
Always thought of Brent as the gentle giant and he was a friend and mentor to me for the years I was on the gun counter with wholesale sports. Always a straight shooter he called as it was whether good or bad. Guess he developed a taste for Makers Mark in the US military and he was pleased when a friend in the US gifted me a bottle. Hope he is enjoying a glass right now.
Brent was a man big in stature and big of heart. Loyal, funny, a fantastic friend to my husband and myself he will be greatly missed. I used tease him and my hubby as as they ran around in their "pj's", "dancing" (dressed in Karategi and doing their Kata) at Karate. He would get all flustered, this big man who while physically intimidating, was gentle, respectful and sometimes even bashful. But if you ever found yourself needing a friend and person who would step in and stand up, well that was Brent.
We will miss the conversations of politics, moyorcycles, and much more and miss watching drops of ice cold beer drip fom your big mustache onto your bigger heart❤. Where ever you are we hope you are happy, healthy, safe, peaceful and have a cold beer in your hand. Give them hell, take no prisoners and rest easy our friend. Till we meet again Bubba.
To Brents family all our love and condoléances. All our love and support, Gaynor and John.
