Obituary of Mark Christopher HAMELL

Mark Hamell, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2020 at the age of 38 years.

Mark was born in Belleville, ON, on January 3rd 1982. He spent most of his younger years in Toronto and Victoria; and most of his adult life in British Columbia and Alberta.

He joined the Armed forces for three years and was stationed in Shilo, MB.

Mark accomplished much throughout his life and was particularly proud of becoming a father and winning a golf club championship at Rio Vista in Fort Erie, ON. He had a passion for golf, hockey, fixing things, and home repairs.

Mark’s most memorable vacation was a family trip to Hawaii, and being the best man at his brother’s wedding in Mexico.

He had a vibrant personality with a positive outlook on life.

Mark is survived by his mother Donna Hamell, his father Michael Hamell of Red Deer, AB, and his brother Scott Hamell of Cochrane, AB. He is also survived by his two children, Jaxson and Nyisa of Victoria, BC.
