Condolences
Dear Chris, Like many, I worked with Jim at Father Lacombe High School. A kind and genuinely caring man who was always a delight to see at Father Lacombe get-togethers. He has a special place in my heart and in the hearts of anyone who came in touch with him. May he rest in peace and may God comfort you and your family with love and good memories. God bless! Dear Chris and Betty, Dan and Heather, along with Diederick, Loretta and Joe and the Grandchildren,
As you all share your deep sadness at Jim’s death, I offer my sincere sympathy and prayers.
Diederick, in his eulogy, certainly presented a beautiful picture of the wonderful man whose life we celebrate.
Jim was a tremendously well-respected man who offered love, compassion, friendship, and genuine support to all. He was a good and holy man. To me, Jim, a close friend of nearly fifty years, was a great and frequent presence in my life.
Chris, you and Jim have been a loving support for Theresa and me in all these years.
To all in this wonderful family, Blessings and Peace.
Rest well Dear Jim.
Brian and on behalf of Bernard and Mariana

The Mac Lellan Clan on The Mountain we are all wishing peace and loving memories.
Christine and family,
I worked with Jim at Father Lacombe High School. I remember clearly my first week at Lacombe and having a conversation with Jim about where we were from and all those questions you ask when first meeting someone. What I found out from that conversation was that Christine, Jim’s wife, had stayed at our house in Antigonish, Nova Scotia when I was a little girl. From that day on, I felt a special connection with Jim and Christine and enjoyed seeing both of them at social gatherings.
Jim had an infectious laugh and always made you feel special. He will be missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him and will always hold a special place in our hearts.
Rest In Peace Jim, Until we meet again. Debbie Smith

I worked with Jim many years ago at Fr. Lacombe.
He was as you describe him: kind, loving, welcoming and accepting. He led by example and it was a great example.
You have been blessed for many years with him as a husband, father and grandfather and I hope that the memories you made with him will stay with you and help you in the years to come.
Thank you for sharing him with us.
Gloria Conzon and family
Mr. McLellan was my math teacher at Father Lacombe High School, he was an amazing teacher who was well respected and loved by all. Rest easy Mr. McLellan.
I knew Jim while teaching a Father Lacombe High School. He was a caring and giving co worker who was an outstanding teacher. He was a huge influence as I learned to "teach". There are many people who we will miss. Jim is someone I will never forget.
Brian and I met Jim in 2005! He came over after the meeting and we chatted. He made us feel welcomed. After that we went to this meeting regularly and would see him there. We always enjoyed his sharing his story. He helped many ,many AA’s in his lifetime. He became a good friend to us and he was a great hugger ! He will be missed by all. Your journey is over now Jim rest in god’s arms and know that you will be missed!

I met this beautiful man in 2011 and he has remained a faithful friend all these years. He was my Sponsor/mentor/father figure for all these years. I will miss our phone calls, weekly coffee/conversations, Sunday brunch and all you taught me over the years. Your smile was infectious. You gave so much to all those who met you. You are going to be truly missed. I am encouraged by your passing and legacy. Instead of crying, I promise to live an inspired, spiritual and happy life like you did. I will live each day with encouragement knowing you are proud and smiling down on me from Heaven. I love you lots Jim until we meet again ❤️ Mary Mary Catherine Roy
