Obituary of Marjorie Gayle KEAL

November 15, 1942 – Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan March 11, 2018 – Calgary, Alberta Gayle Keal passed away peacefully early Sunday morning, March 11, 2018 at AgeCare Midnapore in Calgary, AB at the age of 75 years. Gayle was born in Moose Jaw, SK, daughter of the late Jean and Don Kent. It was there that she met and married her late husband Geoff Keal, after which they moved to Calgary where they raised their three children. Gayle was an avid reader and enjoyed knitting many keepsakes for her grandchildren that will be forever cherished. Chinook Bowladrome was home to Gayle’s weekly ladies bowling league for thirty plus years, an activity that provided many happy times. She was also an amazing cook; the care that went into her dishes for family birthdays and holidays were always something to look forward to. Over the years Gayle enjoyed many trips to Windermere with family and friends. In addition, Gayle played an integral part along with her late husband Geoff in growing a successful and well respected construction business in Calgary, AB. Gayle is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Don and LaVonne Keal; her two daughters and son-in-law, Leslie Keal, and Jana and Derek Koch; her four grandchildren, Riley, Graysen, Mackenzie and Geoffrey; sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Clyde Rempel; her brother and sister-in-law, Bart and Val Kent; as well as many extended family and friends. In keeping with Gayle’s wishes, no service will be held. She will be cremated and her cremated remains will be spread in Hawaii as her final resting place along with her late husband Geoff.
