Obituary of Joy Evelyn Marie HENDRICKSON (nee Turner)

August 7, 1956 – Pembroke, Ontario
July 7, 2020 – Calgary, Alberta

Joy Hendrickson beloved wife of Kim Hendrickson and mother to Chris, of Calgary, AB passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2020, at the age of 63 years.

Joy volunteered with the Canadian Cancer Society. She enjoyed Art, Writing, Hiking, and Camping, and was passionate about painting. Her most memorable vacation was the trip she took to P.E.I.

Joy is survived by her loving husband Kim, her son Christopher, brothers Ed of Dease Lake, BC, and Phil of Calgary, AB; sisters, Faye (Brad) Marlow of Okotoks AB, and Anne (Phil) Roberts of  Sooke, BC; as well as extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Joan and Ed; and sisters, Sharron Proulx-Turner and Gayle Turner.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street North, Calgary, AB), on Wednesday, July 15, 2020, at 2:30 p.m.  Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home.
