Obituary of Margaret HOOD

Margaret Hood of Calgary, AB, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2020, at the age of 96 years.

Born in Edmonton, AB on August 12, 1923, Marge married Francis George Hood in 1950.  Although she enjoyed volunteering with The Care Closet in Penticton, BC, Marge had a passion for knitting; there was always a sweater on the go for someone. She also found time for an extended vacation to Australia with her husband.
 
Marge accomplished much through her life and was particularly proud of her children and grandchildren. She will be most remembered for her sense of humor.

Margaret is survived by her daughter Audrey Dunkley, her son David Hood (Jackie Whitton), her grandchildren, Kelly Hood and Kasey Hood; and her great-grandchildren, as well as her nieces Joan and Judy. Margaret was predeceased by her husband George, and her grandson Daniel.
