Obituary of Jean Katherine VAAST (nee Dunn)

July 6, 2020 – Calgary, Alberta

Jean Katherine Vaast was born December 31, 1936. She died peacefully on Monday, July 6, 2020 at 7:30 p.m. 

May she dream of rainbows and dragonflies over peaceful water. She was one tough old tree and will be missed.

Jean was predeceased by her husband Robert Leo Vaast (September 12, 1999), and son Robert Andrew Vaast (August 18, 2008). She is survived by her son Darren James Vaast, daughter Jana Marie Loertscher, son-in-law Bruno Albert Loertscher, grandson Stevan James Loertscher, great-grandson Mitchell Robert Loertscher, and niece Lorraine and her family. 

At Jean’s request, a memorial service will not be held.
