Obituary of Chi FUNG

Chi Fung, beloved husband of Sin Wan Fung (nee Cheng), of Calgary, AB, passed away on July 9, 2020, at the age of 96 years.

Chi was born in Hong Kong on November 16, 1923. He married Sin Wan in 1956 and moved with his family to Canada in 1983.

Chi worked briefly as a ship pilot and a reserve policeman. For most of his career, he worked at the Hong Kong Royal Observatory as a Wireless Operator.

Chi enjoyed exercising, travelling, watching soccer, and waltz dancing.

Besides his loving wife Sin Wan, Chi is survived by his son Cheuk (Shelly), son-in-law William, granddaughters Natalie and Erika; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Chi was predeceased by his daughter Clara and his two younger brothers.
