To Agnes,s family,

we have just learned of her passing, and have just recently referred to our special friends as we visited with other friends. We so enjoyed our times together as pastor,s and wives when we lived close at Gwynne, while your family were in New Norway. You will miss Mom for sure, and we will miss her also. We know she is in the greatest place! Our love to all.

Dear Family of Agnes Odland – Les, Paul, Norma, Glen & Gary

It is with great sadness for each of you that your mother is no longer with you, but with gladness that she is with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ! We do not grieve as those who have no hope! May God fill you with His special comfort at this time.

My (Fern) Dad was the same age when he went home to glory, and while we still miss him and Mom we know they too are with the Lord and we will meet again!

Your Mom & Dad were special friends to me, especially during my time in Venezuela when they became like second parents to me when we all lived in Caracas. We shared great times together and they were always there for me. I am so grateful for their friendship.

We pray God’s special blessing and comfort for each of you!

Dear Family,

I’ve only come to know this beautiful person in the last few months and appreciated her authentic character. What she said is what she meant. She told that she asked God “Why am I still here?”using a voice that you will know well when she’s frustrated, then added, “To pray for my family and I do every day. Sometimes I fall asleep more then once as I do but I always pick up where I left off!” Then she laughed, “There are so many!”

Know that you were all loved and brought before the King of Kings by this dear and faithful woman.

Our thoughts, prayers and deepest condolences to you all on the passing of Auntie Agnes-she was a wonderful & kind person, strong in faith & heart. May the comfort and peace of our God enfold you all.

To the Odland Family-We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Auntie Agnes. Though she may be gone from sight, she will not be from our hearts.
