Obituary of Sydney Rachelle MCINTOSH

Sydney Rachelle McIntosh of Airdrie, AB, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at the age of 27 years.

Sydney Rachelle McIntosh was born in Surrey, BC, on August 24th,1992. A loving mother and homemaker, Sydney was a remarkable cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends,  especially over the holidays. For many years leading up to her passing, she spent her time as an artist, singing, drawing and creating. She was a sports fan and attended many hockey games of her favourite team the Calgary Flames.

Sydney was an artistic and wild spirit, dancing in the rain during thunderstorms, and exploring the vast beauty of the world through the eyes of her children. Sydney’s eccentric and free spirit will be missed, alongside her willingness to love everyone whole heartedly. She loved her family and friends unconditionally.

Sydney is survived by her sons, Aiden Mcintosh, Azra McIntosh, her parents, Anita McIntosh (Ben) and Scott McIntosh (Dawn); her siblings, Sarah McIntosh (Rick), Mitchell George (Sarah), Lucas George (Becky) and Taryn Nadeau (Malik), and her partner Alex Foster; her uncles, Wade Ponic (Svletlana), and Bruce Mayer (Winnie). She is also survived by four  nieces and four nephews, Emma, Olivia, Sienna, Anna, Kage, Oliver, Ian, Lennox; and her grandparents Marie McIntosh, and Larry McIntosh (Mariam).

Sydney was predeceased by her grandma Esther Ponic, and her uncle Leo Mayer.
