Obituary of Donna Mae VOYSEY

Donna Mae Voysey (nee McLean), loving mother, grandmother and friend, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at the age of 77 years after a short battle with cancer.
Donna grew up in Alliance, Alberta, where her parents, Donald McLean and Winnie McLean (nee Cooke), ran the Commercial Hotel. Donna graduated from Alliance High School in 1960 and went on to have a 30-year career with various banking institutions, retiring from the Royal Bank of Canada in 1997. This is where Donna met her special companion and life partner, Jack, and they spent their time traveling the Okanogan, wintering together in Mesa AZ and spent time with family and friends. For the last 2 ½ years, Donna called Chartwell Eau Claire home and was very fond of the staff and had many friends there. Donna especially enjoyed watching PGA Golf, The Big Bang Theory and re-runs of the Lawrence Welk Show.
Donna is survived by her two daughters, Penny (Marshall) MacLean, and Billie-Jo (Len) Patkau; grandchildren, Cole Mercier, Kelsey MacLean and Jared MacLean; She is also survived by Jack’s family, Jack (Denise) Jonasson, their children Josh and Carley, Jamie Jonasson, Janice (Jeff) Eiring and their children, Kaitlyn and Kyleigh. Donna was predeceased by her companion of 35 years, Jack Jonasson, her parents Don and Winnie McLean, and brother Doug McLean.
