Natasha Hews, beloved mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend, left this world unexpectedly, at the age of 36, on Monday, July 13th, 2020.

Born in Calgary, AB on June 1, 1984, to Linda Hews and Wally Galas, Natasha grew up in Calgary attending schools in Calgary until she graduated from Father Lacombe. Natasha loved music, poker, family, and friends but her one passion in life happened on November 23, 2012, when Makayla was born. Through the years we all were proud of the mother she had become. She was funny, outgoing with beauty and grace, she was fiercely loyal to her friends and family. We will always remember her infectious smile, piercing brown eyes and caring personality. Her presence in our lives will be sorely missed.

Natasha leaves behind the love of her life Vince, her beautiful daughter Makayla, grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

When you think of Natasha, celebrate the good memories you have of her. Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest.

A Viewing will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street North Calgary, AB) on Monday, July 20, 2020, from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. The family request all who attend wear face masks, and adhere to all COVID-19 guidelines. Due to regulations on gathering sizes, please limit your stay to 30 minutes. 

Natasha worked at Sammy's Chop House for over 15 years and has a huge family of friends there. A Celebration of Life will be held at Sammy’s Chop House (3151 34th Ave S.E., Calgary) on July 25, 2020, at 4:00 p.m. Please join Natasha’s friends and celebrate our memories together.
