Barry and I go back to La Belle Province and had a similar upbringing...when we connected here in Calgary he would look at me, and I at him, and nothing had to be said...we just knew what was going on.

I am saddened as to his passing , he was impactful with many youth in the 80's at the JCC as a premier instructor.

A good man has left us far to early...not fair.

I only knew Barry a short 6 or 7 years.

A chance meeting at a car dealership led to a friendship involving many talks pontificating on pontification.

I'll miss our time together and I was glad to be here for him as a friend as he was fighting valiantly the last while.

I’ve known Barry for twenty years as his family physician and will miss his presence very much. He always lit up a smile and tried to connect me with a ‘good deal’ through any number of numerous connections.
