Obituary of Amedeo SORRENTINO

Amedeo Sorrentino, beloved husband of Guilia Sorrentino passed away on Monday, July 20, 2020 at the age of 97 years.
Amedeo was born on April 10, 1923 in Lanciano, Chieti, Italy.
He was the sixth of eleven siblings. He came from a humble upbringing making him a hard-working family man. He loved spending time with his friends in the Italian community who all respected his kindness and humor.
Amedeo is survived by his wife of seventy-two years, Giulia; his daughters Rosalina (Frank), Elisa (John), and Silvana (Mike); seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and his younger brother Guerino Sorrentino (Maria).
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Parish (1714 – 14th Avenue N.E., Calgary, AB) by invitation only due to Covid. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Mausoleum.
