Obituary of Trina  RAMANADEN

It is with deep sadness that the family of Trina Ramanaden, age 44, announces her unexpected passing on Sunday, June 21, 2020. 

Trina had a vivacious, vibrant personality with many accomplishments to her credit. She was a talented French, music and drama teacher, an accomplished salsa dancer, actress, saxophonist and pianist. Some of her greatest passions were children, hiking and nature. Trina passed away while doing what she loved: hiking in the Rockies. It was on the mountaintops that she felt closest to God and talked to him. Trina loved the Lord and had many friends whom she led to Him.

Trina is survived by her parents Rita and Theodore Ramanaden of Calgary, sister Sherine Selvaratnam, brother-in-law Hiran Selvaratnam, brother Isidore Ramanaden, nieces, Sabrina and Shemara Selvaratnam all of Australia, and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and their children.

We love and miss you Trina, and will always remember you.

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street North Calgary, AB) on Thursday, July 16, 2020 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. and from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Prayers to begin at 7:00 p.m.
