Obituary of Isabel WHITNEY

Isabel Whitney of Calgary, AB, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2020 at the age of 96 years.

Isabel was born in Three Hills, AB on May 19, 1924. She was the seventh child out of eleven born to Isobel and Hugh Meston. 
Coming to Calgary in 1949, she worked for Stillings Photography and Camera Crafts where she met Gerry who passed away on October 30, 2008. 

Isabel was married to Gerry for fifty-five years and they raised four wonderful sons, Monty (Cindy), Gordon (Linda), Craig (Joyce) and Ken (Carrie). She loved all of her grandchildren, Clayton, Stacy, Mac and Scott, Laura and Kendall, Deidra, Rachel, Grant and Morgan; plus her five darling great-granddaughters, Tiyana, Larissa, Trinity,  Kenzie and Ellie; two great-grandsons, Trace and Keo. Isabel also leaves behind one sister Beulah Schier and numerous nieces, nephews. She loved each and everyone.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary, AB) on Friday, July 31, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home.
