Obituary of Edna Gococo

GOCOCO, Edna (nee Delos Santos)

Edna Gococo (née Delos Santos) was born on December 18, 1947, in Cebu City, Philippines. When she was 18 years old she met the love of her life, Ernest. Ernest moved to Canada in 1973 and she joined him in 1975, after completing her degree from the University of The East.

On May 10, 1975, Ernest and Edna were married. They had their daughter Erlynn shortly after getting married followed by their son AJ in 1980. Together, they built a beautiful life full of family gatherings, family vacations and time with close friends. Family was always the number one priority for Edna. After her grandson Jake was born in 2006, she devoted much of her time caring for him. They were very close and had a special bond.

Edna is survived by Ernest, her loving husband of 45 years, daughter Erlynn, son AJ, grandson Jake, daughter-in-law Jenna and siblings Sonny, Agnes, Chito and Susan. She also leaves behind many close family members and friends who loved her so very much.

Edna will be missed but her memory will always and forever be a reminder of her beautiful soul. Heaven has gained another angel.
