Obituary of Elmer BELLON

April 14, 1960 – Vigan, Phillippines
July 21, 2020 – Calgary, Alberta

It is with a great sadness we announce the passing of Elmer Bellon, beloved husband of Mageline Bellon, father of Mae and Mark (Laica) and grandfather of Sofia Alexa. Elmer passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family at South Health Campus, on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at the age of 60 years.

Elmer was born to parents Feliza and Andres Bellon on April 14, 1960 in Vigan, Philippines. He moved to Calgary, AB in 2003.

Elmer was a car enthusiast and was an avid basketball shoe collector. His graceful personality made him the life of every family gathering.

Above all, Elmer was a wonderful Dad. He personified responsibility and taught his children to learn from their own experiences. His last reminder to his children was to be generous at all times.

Elmer’s dry sense of humor and sharp, quick wit will always be cherished and he will be dearly missed by his wife, children, and numerous relatives and friends.

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Deerfoot South, 12281 – 40th Street SE, Calgary, AB) on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
