Condolences
I’m so sorry to read this obituary about Jo Marie. My husband worked with her at Kudu for many years. She was a great friends to us both. Good bye Mother Goose. You will be greatly missed !Blessings Jo. Donna Wallace
I was sad to hear of Jo's passing. She was such a beautiful person. It was so great that she was the face you 1st saw upon arriving at work (as she was also my mother goose for a time). She was a sweet and compassionate soul and will be missed dearly. My condolences to her family and to those who remained close to Jo over the years.

We were very saddened to learn of the passing of Jo. For many years we were her “pew mates“ at church services and we spent many moments discussing the latest news, events, aches and pains, politics, weather and above all, how we were doing from the last time we saw each other. Always with a lot of laughs at the end of the service. Jo was very kind, compassionate and humorous and we will truly miss her. Our deep condolences to her children and family.

How lucky we were to have Jo, aka "Mother Goose", in our lives. Jo was the epitome of decency and kindness. She so enjoyed looking after all her goslings at Kudu as well as her extended family of suppliers, service companies, delivery people or whomever walked through the doors at Kudu. Jo remembered names, birthdays and anniversaries like no one I have ever met. Friends tried to disguise their voices so that Jo would not recognize them yet, she still did. Everyone who met Jo would remark on what a wonderful person she was.
And who could ever be cross with Jo? I tried, once, when the budget for raisin bread, cookies, treats and Christmas gifts seemed to grow exponentially; when I realized how much joy Jo got from making sure we were all well fed, bellies and souls, how could I argue?
Jo had the sweetest way of calming the most irate of people. On more than one occasion I had a customer call to complain, in the most upset of ways, only to first have to speak to Jo; Jo would recognize their voice and address them by their first name before they had even identified themselves, then ask how their spouse, with the spouse's first name, was doing. The customer would then be put through to me and explain they would call me back when they had remembered what the problem was in the first place!
We will never forget the effort that Jo and her elves put into the Kudu Christmas parties. I don't think anyone enjoyed the Kudu Christmas party and organizing it as much as Jo; really, we should have called it "Jo's and Kudu's Christmas Party". She and the elves did a great job.
Mother Goose was one in a million: a great and compassionate lady. She is dearly missed and will be remembered. Rest in Peace.
All the best to Hulse family and the extended Kudu family.
Love

We are deeply saddened by the news. I had the great honour of knowing and working with Jo Marie for over 25 years. She was indeed a very special lady as she brought kindness and love to everyone she met and surely the world is a better place because of this. Miss you Jo. - Dennis Resendes and family.
I was very saddened to hear of Jo Marie's passing. I am so glad we were able to chat with each other few months ago. My late Mom and I, got to know Jo Marie, when she was working at Woodwards (Chinook). She was a such beautiful person from the time we met her - we got along so well with her - she was lovely, gracious and had fantastic Customer Service skills. Mom and I always made sure we went to her, anytime we had some shopping to do at Woodwards, as we always enjoyed talking to her and as well, we also had a few laughs too.
I am glad I had kept in contact with Jo Marie, as the years were ticking by - and we always had such a good conversation with each other - neither of us were ever short of words.
My husband, Ray and I are extending our Condolenses to the the Family. Thank you Coral for your phone call to us - we appreciated it very much.
Sincerely
Charlotte & Ray Kenney
We are sending you our sincere condolences.
So sorry about your Mother s passing .
What a beautiful and full life. Deepest sympathies on your loss.
So sad to say good-bye, but I am happy to say I am a better person to have known Jo Marie. I was quite young when I started working at Kudu and Jo Marie was a big influence on me both personally and professionally. She really was for me, as she was for many others, a work Mom. Jo would always take time to do little things to make each of us smile, like leaving our favorite candy on our desk, or cutting out a newspaper article she thought we would like. She really was a very special lady and I am happy to say there are many Mother Gooseisms ingrained in who I am.
Jo-Marie`s spirit will live on in the many people she connected with over her years. Rest in Peace JoJo, I love you!
