Memorial Service
Condolences
Diane and Rob:
With a sad and heavy heart, I'm sending the two of you a big warm hug for your loss.
Thinking of Linda, brings back a flood of memories.
First we were close family friends that lived across the street, way back in the 70's, in Vancouver, B.C.
Hanging out most of the time at your small apartment. When Diane was in high school and my sister and I were in elementary.
Not too long after that Linda and my cousin were married and than the two of you became family.
The new additional cousins, moved to their 1st family home. Thinking back as a kid, I lost two neighbors
but gain two extra family members. I was proud of how we all became a Wong Family through the union of marriage.
Tomorrow I will see you off Linda, and say good-bye to my dear cousin.

IN MEMORY OF AUNT LINDA
My Dear Grand Aunt.
Those who remember her know that she was a kind, patient and a generous lady.
So gracious and always listening to you with a kind heart.
I remember meeting her for the 1st time in 1978 after a trip to Hong Kong with mom and Brother (mom’s 1st trip back to visit her family since departing to Toronto to marry dad).
We stayed with her and her husband (Uncle) Wing in Vancouver and had a memorable time.
The next time was in 1986 when she was kind of enough to have me and 2 friends stay at her home while we were there exploring EXPO ’86.
Afterwards it was correspondence thru letters and cards.
Enjoy 4 photos from my mom’s collection taken in British Columbia in the mid-late 1960’s & summer 1978.
She will be missed.

Diane & Rob,
My sister shared the sad news. My condolences to you all. It's been a long time since Kitchener Street days and those childhood memories of you, your Mom and Ni Goo. I don't know how else to call him. I look forward to seeing you one day when when I get to Calgary one year and share all the memories of the 1960-70's.
Warmest wishes,
Mae Kim
Dear Diane & Rob,
I am sorry to hear about the passing of Aunt Linda. She was a sweet, kind, considerate, intelligent, and beautiful lady. She was also my father's only lovable little sister. I learned alot from her and she had always been my mentor in everything, from her amazing chef skills to life skills. I was very happy to be able to visit her last year (2019) in Calgary. We did alot of shopping, dining, and relaxing in the hot tub. She will always be missed and will be in my hearts forever. My condolences are with you and the family.
Love,
Sania Wong Po
Dear Diane and Rob,
We are sorry to hear that Auntie Linda passed away. We are going to miss Auntie Linda.
She is a very warm hearted, considerate, elegant and generous lady. We went to Calgary to visit her 3 years ago. Every morning she made sure that we had breakfast so we had strength to start our day. She bought eggs, chicken, mushrooms and milk for us. She boiled hot water because she knew we like to drink hot water. In the evening, when we came back we always watched Chinese television together and talked with her. Living with her for only a week, we already felt very comfortable with her.
It is a blessing that Auntie Linda passed away peacefully. May she rest in peace and she will stay in our hearts forever.
With heartfelt condolences
Pak Shan, Lindy and Chloe
Dear Diane and Rob, I am so sorry to hear of Auntie Linda's passing. I still have fond memories of her visit with Uncle Wing in 2010 in Los Angeles. We had Ethiopian food, went to the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the nearby Korean grocery store. They even stayed in my home. She was such a generous spirit and we all loved her very much.
Love, Kristina Wong
Dear Diane & Rob,
We are very saddened by the loss of our Auntie Linda. We will always remember her warm smile, love, kindness, and generosity. We will always cherish the fond memories of the fun times shared together in San Francisco, Canada, and while cruising to Mexico.
Thank you for the excellent care you both have given her. She will be missed, but forever in our hearts.
With love and in sympathy,
Donald and Gwen
