So sorry to hear about your Dad, Alison. Sending you my sincere condolences. Brings back memories of those summers when you were at the farm north of our farm out by Hazenmore. Take care. Kim (Anderson) Waddell
Alison and Ron,
I'm so sorry to hear about your Dad. My heart is aching for you. He was such a good man, and was loved by so many. What a blessing and good memories you all got to share on his birthday. He will now be free of pain. You all take care and you're in our thoughts. Love you all....xoxoxoxo
Hi Alison,
Just wanted to extend our deepest condolences on the passing of your Dad. Perry and I really enjoyed our time with your parents when we were first married and living in Regina. Please extend our sympathy to the rest of the family and take care.
I was so sorry to hear of Doug's passing. He was always so warm and friendly - had a great smile and went out of his way to get to know people. Doug was such a caring part of St. Andrew's United Church Cochrane. The world was a better place for him being in it. Sympathies to all the family. Edith Wearmouth
I am so sorry to hear of Doug’s passing. When the new senior centre was opened I met Doug as a member who often popped in for a coffee on my hostess days. We always had good chats and laughs together. Over the years I met May and Doug at many community events. He was always smiling and interesting in the events taking place as was May. My condolences to May and the family
Doug Cave was one of the kindest and most generous man - he was an avid curler and supported the Cochrane Curling Club at every level. Our condolences to his family and especially to May Olsen, his long time companion and friend. We are going to miss your warm smile so much Doug. Gary and Barbara Gibson
Brian & I send our condolences to Doug's family and especially to our dear friend, May. We will miss Doug -- his warm smile, his firm handshake and warm hugs that he so freely gave each time we saw him. He was an engaging and faithful greeter at Cochrane Alliance Church and we were happy to be a fellow servant on the Welcoming Ministry Team with him. I'm sure the ladies that he and May so faithfully picked up and transported to CAC will miss him as well as all the folks at the Mountain View Terrace condos and many others in our Cochrane community. Trusting God for His strength and peace to surround and uphold you during your time of grief. May your sorrow turn to joy as you remember and focus on Doug's contributions to our world. May your hearts be glad in knowing that Doug is now in the presence of our beautiful Savior and Redeemer!
Love and prayers, Brian & Ginny Winter
Saddened to hear of Dougs' passing. He was very well known and respected in the oil patch, where I first met him many years ago.
Our sincere condolences to the Cave Family. Charlie and Gail Kiemele
Doug and his wife Joyce were a big part of my life. They introduced me to my husband and were always there to lend help and support for many projects. Their enthusiasm and encouragement helped me to believe anything is possible. Doug was a good friend and I will always remember his ready smile. His family was his pride and brought him great joy! He was so proud of all of you. I will feel your pain and share your grief. My warm thoughts at this very sad time.
