We are sad to announce the sudden passing of our beloved Shelly, who was called home by our Creator on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at the age of 26 years.

Shelly grew up around family in Morley, White Court & Piikani. Shelly was known by family as “Mino” and many other nicknames given to her by family.  She will always be remembered by her contagious laugh and her beautiful smile. Shelly attended Morley and Calgary schools, and made many friends. Shelly was athletic and enjoyed playing the game of hockey since age 7 and played bantann with the boys.  Shelly was an excellent traditional cook. She loved preparing smoked dry meat and participated in traditional ceremonies. Most of all she loved her family and her children. Shelly left a great legacy of strength, love and authenticity.
