Obituary of Robert James MAUCH

July 13, 1955 – July 13, 2020

It is with sad hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our brother, Robert Mauch of Winnipeg, Manitoba, on Monday, July 13, 2020 at the age of 65 years.

Bob was born in Edmonton, AB. In 1967 the family moved to Montreal for two years and then on to Toronto in 1969 where Bob attended high school and then eventually started his graphic arts company “Spectra”. He was incredibly skilled in the fine arts and enjoyed photographic airbrushing and ink mediums, creating many paintings over the years. In his youth, Bob enjoyed skiing and the cottage life with friends. Later vacations to the Caribbean and Mexico were some of the best days of his life.  In the mid 1990’s, Bob moved to Thunder Bay and worked in advertising, got married and became a step-dad, however after several years together they parted ways. Bob moved to Winnipeg where he worked for many years at a car dealership as a salesman, a loans adjuster, and a vehicle delivery driver.

Robert is survived by his siblings, Carola Turton, Howard Mauch, Monica Wade, and Judy Graham; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family. Robert was predeceased by his parents Walter (2018) and Claire (2007).

A Private Family Service will be held. Robert always adored his cats, whether they were purebred Persian or the strays that he took in. Accordingly if friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to your local SPCA or to any no-kill cat foundation.
