Obituary of Robert Miles CLARK

March 1, 1959 – Edmonton, Alberta

August 15, 2020 – Calgary, Alberta

Robert Clark, beloved husband of Helena Canfield (Clark), of Calgary, AB, passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2020, at the age of 61 years.

Robert was born in Edmonton, AB, on March 1, 1959. He graduated from SAIT with a degree in Computer Science. Rob focused the first twenty years of his career in the computer science field. Then Rob embraced a career in Wholistic Therapy including teaching Qi Gong, and he provided loving attention to each and every one of his clients and students. He was a volunteer at the Calgary Crisis Centre for ten years. Rob enjoyed many outdoor activities, such as tennis, skiing, hiking, camping, and walking in nature.

Robert and Helena were married on the back side of the Middle Sister Mountain in Canmore, AB on June 1st, 1996. One of Rob’s memorable vacations was when he and Helena explored the wonders of Machu Picchu, Peru, in 2002. Rob’s way of expressing his love of words was through his poetry.

Robert is survived by his devoted loving wife, Helena, his step-daughter Tammy (Massi), step-son Ryan (Crystall), four grandchildren, his brother Barry Clark, his step-mother Evelyn Clark, as well as many cousins, who will find his absence a great void in their lives. He was predeceased by his father and mother, Vernon and Myra Clark.
