Scot Schiebelbein of Calgary, AB passed away on Monday, August 17, 2020 at the age of 42 years.

Surya was born in Calgary and lived here the majority of his life. After pursuing various professions, he found his two passions; yoga and travelling. He managed to find a way to combine them by teaching yoga in Thailand each winter. His true calling was Acro Yoga and within the Acro community, he truly has found another family. He was also an avid health nut, studying osteopathy, and he loved to dance.

He was a free spirit and really lived his life to the fullest. He touched many lives all around the world. He went in peace on August 17, surrounded by loved ones. He will continue to shine on in all that knew him.

Surya is survived by his three sisters, Nikala Schiebelbein of Grande Prairie, AB, Kendra Doyle (Tyler) of Calgary, AB, and Jocelyn Schiebelbein of Rocky Mountain House; father Brian Schiebelbein (Rachel) of Edson, AB, grandma Jovita Schiebelbein of Kindersly, SK, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
