Dear dear Gill and Ruth, I'm so sorry for your loss, and I send you wishes for some moments of peace. I have very fond and vivid memories of sleepovers at the house in Calgary, and many weekends in Priddis - hay bales, cups of tea, just generally running around. Susan's departure not surprise and we knew it was hard for her in the last a few years, but reflecting on her long and beautiful life and after reading this lovely obituary, it was an honor to know her for nearly 40 years. She was undoubtedly kind, gentle, and generous in many different ways, and we appreciate everything she had done. We will miss her forever and keep the good memories that give us laughter and joy. Ruth and Gill, Pacey and I were saddened today to see your Mom’s obituary in the paper. She certainly was one of a kind and really had a very interesting life. The obituary was simply lovely.

I know you will continue to have many wonderful memories of you mother and those memories are to be cherished.
