Obituary of Cecilia Po Tin WONG

Cecilia Wong of Calgary, AB, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2020 at the age of 55 years.

Cecilia was born in Hong Kong, on March 27, 1965.  She immigrated to Canada in 1982 and graduated from SAIT in 1987.

She joined the Provincial Court of Alberta in 2005, and this year will mark her 15^th year of service.

Cecilia was well known as a Purple Lover and she was particularly proud of her dedication to her work to whom she is loved and missed by her peers.

Cecilia was a choir member at St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church. She will be most remembered for her beautiful voice, especially when singing hymns during mass.

Cecilia is survived by her parents, her three brothers and sisters-in-law: Dominic and Amy of Calgary, AB, Billy and Karen of Hong Kong, Joseph and Catherine of Edmonton, AB; as well as her three nephews: Alex, Calvin and Thomas, and three nieces: Rachel, Chantal and Fatima, and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes that will be held at Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street N., Calgary, AB) on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at 7:30 p.m.
