Obituary of Adriana IOZZI

Adriana Iozzi of Calgary, AB, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2020 at the age of 96 years.

Adriana was born in Fermo, Italy, on January 7, 1924. She immigrated to Canada in 1961, and that same year she married Gimi Iozzi. She worked for several years as a seamstress at the Holy Cross Hospital, was very diligent with her work, and well liked by her coworkers and staff.

Adriana is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, all living in Italy. Adriana was predeceased by her loving husband Gimi Iozzi in January of 2010. Adriana will be dearly missed by the staff and residents of the Eau Claire Retirement Home, where she resided for the past six years.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Corpus Christi Catholic Church (Corner of 4th Street & Northmount Drive N.W., Calgary, AB) on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Mausoleum.
