Obituary of Christopher Kenneth DOWNEY

May 18, 1959 – Amherst, Nova Scotia

August 22, 2020 – Calgary, Alberta

Chris *Mr C* beloved husband of Wendy Smith of Calgary, AB, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at the age of 61  years.

Besides his loving wife, Wendy, Chris is survived by daughters Alexis (Richard) Joyce and Krystal; his sons Cory and Trevor. He was the Proud Poppa of Kyla, Kynlee, Jada and Aaliyah.

Chris is also survived by his father Kenny Downey; sisters Trudy (Steve) and Brenda; and his brother Keith; Wendy’s family; numerous nieces and nephews; and many good friends.  

Chris was predeceased by his mom, Mona and special friend Brian.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Eastside, 5388 Memorial Drive NE, Calgary, AB) on Friday, August 28, 2020 at 10:00 am.    Graveside Service to follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens.
