Elizabeth Goodwin, beloved wife of the late Ray Goodwin, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2020 at the age of 90 years.

Elizabeth or “Betty”, as she was called for most of her life, moved with her family to Alberta where she met and married Ray, the love of her life on September 9, 1950.  The two shared the love of friends and community and continued to be involved in the Red Deer Lake Community throughout their lives.  They began raising their children Diana, Dale and Sandra (Leon) on Ray’s family homestead next to Red Deer Lake.  As Ray’s business grew, they built and moved into their dream home in 1962 where they lived until Ray's passing in 2017.   As husband and wife they spent winters in Hawaii and traveled the world with family and friends.

Elizabeth enjoyed being a wife, homemaker, and Nana to their seven grandchildren, Ariel, Landon, Dylan, Terrence, Zoe, Vanessa and Ryan, and six great-grandchildren.

Elizabeth is survived by her three children, Diana, Dale and Sandra (Leon). She was predeceased by her husband of sixty-five years, Ray, sisters, Helen and Kay; granddaughter Ariel, great-grandson Nathan and parents, Helen & Isaac Fehr.
