Daniel den Hartog, devoted father and beloved partner, of Calgary, AB passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 31, 2020, at the age of 37 years while at home with his family.

Dan was a loyal, hilarious and loving shining star. If you needed him, he was there. He was a very loving and fun father who loved Brooklynn with his whole heart. Dan was happiest when it was just him and "his girls".

Dan is survived by his lifelong partner Danniel Chaput, his daughter Brooklynn den Hartog, his father Brad den Hartog, his Noni Gloria Hrvatin, his Nono Marcello Hrvatin, Uncle Rik Hrvatin, sisters, Juli (Jeff and Luke), Ashley, and Veronica Chaput (Jamie); and mother-in-law France (James) Chaput.

“Dan, you will be dearly missed and eternally in our hearts "Always and Forever". I know in my heart Marcella, his beautiful mother, took Daniel by the hand and called him home with her.”
