Obituary of Eduardo Pacquing JUAT

August 19, 2020 – Calgary, Alberta

Eduardo Pacquing Juat Jr. sadly passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2020. He was born to Eduardo Juat Sr. and Ligaya Pacquing on March 18, 1957.  He was a distinguished graduate of the University of the Philippines in 1978. He immigrated with his family to Calgary, AB,  in June of 1993 where he raised his family and embraced being a proud Calgarian and Filipino-Canadian.
 

He was an intelligent, academically gifted man with an unparalleled work ethic, and also a loving husband and father. He was the proud Cadet Colonel of the Reserve Officer Corps and an esteemed member of the UP Vanguards in the Philippines, whose motto were the three pillars of DUTY, well-performed, HONOR untarnished and COUNTRY above self.

A man of strong faith and prayer who kept a great relationship with his heavenly Father; he was an avid runner, having completed several marathons. He was fond of travelling and explored many countries with his wife Gloria, as well as making trips to visit his sons, Genesis, a practicing physician in the United States and Angelo, a private school teacher in Hong Kong.

He is survived by his wife Gloria, his sons, Genesis, Angelo, Jeffrey and Silas, his brother Victor (Vic), and sister Carmelita (Chit); as well as many loving cousins, nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by his friends and loved ones. May God grant him peace as he spends eternity with his Creator forever and ever.
