Obituary of Shirley Beatrice EVANS

April 13, 1925 – Scott, SK February 9, 2018 – Calgary, AB It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Shirley Evans. Shirley returned to her Lord Saviour peacefully on February 9, 2018 at the age of 92 years. Shirley had a great love for reading, treasured her books, loved her four legged friends and enjoyed sketching and music. Shirley’s devotion to the Lords teachings and scriptures shaped her life and impacted all those who new her. We will always be grateful for her love, friendship, fellowship, compassion and her respect and awe of nature. We will miss the lengthy visits over a cup of tea. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Leah Pinder and her husband Dave, and by her brother Warren Van Nice and his wife Carol. She will also be missed by her large family of friends. She was predeceased by her son Murray and her brother Robert. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Haysboro Community Centre, 1204 – 89 Avenue SW, Calgary.
