Obituary of Marie Irene MARCHAND

August 29, 1957– Shaunavon, Saskatchewan
September 10, 2020 – Calgary, Alberta

Marie Marchand of Calgary, AB, passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at the age of 63 years after a brave battle with cancer.  

Marie was born in Shaunavon, SK, to Violet and Phillip Marchand, moved to Canal Flats, BC, where she grew up before settling in Calgary, AB, as an adult. Marie was passionate about her family and her friends, researching genealogy, cooking and crafts.

Marie is survived and will forever be in the hearts of her sister Yvonne of Cranbrook, BC, three brothers, Albert of Canal Flats, BC, Richard (Shelly) of Cranbrook, BC and Donald (Cattie) of Windermere, BC.  She also leaves behind her nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Joel, Gayle, Josh, Rachel, Kellen, Jacob and Allissa as well as great-nephews and nieces. Marie was predeceased by her mother Violet, her father Phillip, sisters, Donna and Linda as well as her nieces, Sheila and Angela.
