Condolences
Dear Ed,
My heart was broken when learned Miriam's passing.
I still clearly remember my 1st warm Christmas after arriving Canada.
Thank you so much for everything you and Miriam done for us.
She will be deeply missed.
Dear Sardachuk Family,
Sending you all a hug and my sympathy in the loss of Miriam. She was such a great lady of faith. Praying God’s peace for each of you at this time.

Dear Uncle Ed, Marc, Grant, James and your families,
It's hard to imagine life without Aunt Miriam, her "Hi there", her smile, cabbage rolls, friendliness, generosity, entertaining, humility. She just gave of her time to each and everyone of us.
This scripture from Proverbs 31:28 comes to mind,
"Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her:"
She will have great rewards in heaven. See you then Aunt Miriam,

Dear Ed & Family,
Our hearts are saddened by the passing of Miriam. Our memories of her make us smile as we recall her loving and compassionate spirit. She always considered others before herself. We are so grateful that our paths crossed from time to time and we recall her visits to Florida with much pleasure, especially our wedding. We always felt she was part of the family. She recommended that we visit Moraine Lake years ago and she did not steer us wrong! It had to be one of her favorite places. We hope you are comforted by the fact that she loved her Savior and is rejoicing with Him now.
Our deepest and heartfelt sympathy, Tom, Esther, Christian and Caitlin Knightly
Dear Sardachuk Family:
It is with profound sadness that we read of the passing of your beloved wife, mother and grandmother. Be sure our thoughts and prayers are with you all. We, somewhat know how much she meant to each and all of you, and wish you strength to know, with certainty, that Miriam is with our Lord and Savior. After a life well lived, having been a physical and spiritual image not only to you, but all of us who knew and loved her. Brother and good friend Ed, we hope to see you soon, and may the Lord strengthen you especially in this great loss.
With our best wishes and prayers.

My first and best friend, strong support and only family in Canada. You will always be my best friend Miriam. Now you are with God who is always with us, so you are also with us.
We will meet again in our Father’s Home.
Love you Miriam.
Hello Ed, Marc, Grant & James.
So very sorry to hear about Miriam's passing. Many years ago as a younger man, your mom (and dad) welcomed me for a brief time into your home and family. I will always remember the warmth and kindness she showed me. My very best wishes to you
all at this time.

We, strangers and Australians to boot, turned up at Brentview Baptist in July 1977. We knew no one, but were invited to coffee at the Sardachuk’s house that very night, after the evening service. That was the beginning of a lovely friendship with both Miriam and Ed and our children got to know James through the youth group. Even though we are back in Australia now we are looking forward to spending eternity with Miriam and Ed and others from Brentview.
Miriam and Ed became my next door neighbours in 1988. I soon learned not to underestimate Miriam: she was wise, thoughtful, authentic, committed to her family, and very kind and generous to all who needed assistance. I recall her once offering to lead a lost stranger out of the Uplands by driving ahead of his car! I miss those little chats we would have on the steps between our houses. I can only imagine what her loss is like for the family and I send them my love and condolences.
To take a line out of Ed's autobiography ".....I thank God from the depth of my heart for having blessed me with a wonderful, loving and caring wife....."
