We’re sorry to hear about your Mom’s passing. We have so many fond memories of her at the cottage. She was a wonderful lady!
Dear Mary Hannah, David & Family,
Helen meant so much to all of the kids who grew up at Heather Beach. I’ll always remember walking up the lane to visit her and Naz – I think we thought we were grown ups despite being about five years old. Helen always gave us kids plenty of affection a caring conversation, and usually sweets! She’s truly missed.
My thoughts and prayers are with you. Helen was a wonderful person and will be greatly missed. I have such fond memories of her and the special store from my childhood.
So sorry to hear of Helen’s passing. We will miss seeing her at the beach, and seeing her rush back to her cottage to watch her “story.” She’ll be missed!

Hannah and Family.
I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. Your Mom and Dad were both very good to Doug and I and especially our daughter Annette when we lived across the road from them (the store). Annette was two years old and would take off to see your Mom and Dad because she would get and fruit. Then one of them would walk her home and see her Dad freeking out because he could not find her. Ahh…the good old days. Your Mom and Dad are now together once again.
So sorry for your loss Hannah but I am sure you have many happy memories to hold tight too. xoxo
Hannah, Dave and family,

I grew up on Spruce st. I still call the building Naz’s store. I spent many a days running back and forth getting the penny candy that was always kept in the bowl under the counter. Helen always took her time with each and every child that came into the store. She was an amazing woman. Naz would be back in the meat area. That was the best meat ever. I loved shaved ham and he always made sure I approved that it was just right. Oh the memories.
I am so sorry for your loss. You are all in my prayers.
