Obituary of Marilou JADOT (nee Lauwens)

February 9, 1929 – Bertem, Belgium
September 25, 2020 – Calgary, Alberta

Marilou Jadot passed away peacefully on Friday, September 25, 2020 at the age of 91. 

Being married to a Military Attaché, Marc, she travelled a lot and spent some years in the United States as well as in Bonn, Germany.  Marilou was a gracious hostess, an amazing cook, and when in the U.S., did volunteer nursing in her spare time. She always had a kind word for everyone and the most amazing smile. 

She leaves behind many friends and will be missed by them all.  She was predeceased by her beloved husband Marc in 1996 and her brother Jeffrey. She and Marc immigrated to Calgary in 1987 when Marc retired, to be closer to their daughter Yvette and her husband Fred, as well as her two grandsons, Stephen (Theresa) and Patrick (Amy); and her two great-grandsons, Zachary and Cole; and her precious great-granddaughter Joelle. Her son Didier lives in Belgium with his wife Linda and two sons, Valentin and Julien.
