Obituary of Herbert George TARRANT

Herb Tarrant passed away peacefully on Friday, September 25, 2020 at the Chinook Hospice in Calgary, AB the age of 79 years.

Herb was born in Botwood, NL and moved to Calgary in 1963 where he raised six children with his wife Joan.

He leaves to mourn five children, Rick (Kelly), Tony (Diane), Brad, Darryl (Shannon) and Sheri (Ken); along with nineteen grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren and with one on the way. He is also survived by his sisters, and brother Florrie (Dorm), Joan (Oswald), Ryburn (Barbara) and Verna (Lewis). Herb will be painfully missed and lovingly remembered by his family, friends and close relatives.

Herb was predeceased by his wife Joan and son Randy, his parents, Abel and Irene Tarrant, sister, Mildred and brother Roy.

The family would like to thank the palliative care nurse, Lisa and the wonderful staff at Chinook Hospice for their loving care.
