Obituary of Salvacion Salon De Lima

October 2, 2020 – Calgary, Alberta

Salvacion De Lima of Calgary, AB, passed away on Friday, October 2, 2020 at the age of 76 years.

Salvacion was born in Buhi, Cam Sur, Philippines on July 12, 1944. She immigrated to Calgary, AB in 2005.  She is fifth of nine children of Pedro De Lima and Angela Salon de Lima.
 
Salvacion was a homemaker all her life and has left a legacy of being a brilliant, caring, and loving mother.

Salvacion enjoyed being around her family, relatives, and friends. She enjoyed travelling, shopping and cooking her famous “laing” to everyone. She is also known for her being fashionably dressed.
She will be most remembered for her caring ways, helping family and relatives in need, being a loving mother, dear and jolly friend, prayerful and gentle spirit.

Salvacion is survived by her three daughters, and one son-in-law, Myra and (Rene) of Calgary, Daisy and Avic of Philippines, four sons and four daughters-in-law, Nestor and (Anita) Balerite of Philippines, Fernan and (Flor) Balerite, Joey and (Jheng) Agcaoili, Mackie and (Dyen) Agcaoili of Calgary; twelve grandchildren, Michelle and Joeffrey of Philippines, Jay and Richie of Calgary, Alex and  Angela of Calgary, Fernz of Philippines, Rence, Asti and Gab of Philippines, Joachim and Julianna of Calgary; five great-grandchildren, Cassandra, Caitlyn, Jake, Bryce and Ella, all of Philippines. Salvacion is also survived by her four brothers, Salvador, Cencio, Aristitulis and Jose and four sisters, Soledad, Edith, Teresita and Emelina they all reside in Philippines; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Salvacion was predeceased by spouse, children, parents, brothers and sisters. 

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Deerfoot South, 12281 – 40th Street SE, Calgary, AB) on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 and Thursday, October 8, 2020 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
